of a little girl who wanted to grow up and save the cats. Her first cat, Melissa, was her very best friend and they grew up together. She promised him that every animal she ever met would know that they were loved and important to this world as much as he was. Throughout her life she continued to volunteer at animal shelters and with rescue.

Whilst living in Southern California in her twenties, mom, Rianna, came across two twin torties living in the bushes. They were approximately 6 months old and quite spicy little things but she knew she couldn’t just leave them there. They came home with her and that is where this page begins.

A few years later Mama Maia and her three kids Ollie, Oakley, and Opal joined the TwinTorties family and expanded our cat crew to 6.

It’s been a wild ride but we wouldn’t trade it for the world. We hope that by creating our pages and sharing to our socials we can put a smile on your face, help support you with tips and advice, and ultimately find more cats their forever homes.
